With this voter-approved proposition, car tabs, also known as Vehicle License Fees, increased to $80 per vehicle per year. With the Vehicle License Fee Rebate program, income-qualified vehicle owners with a car registered in Seattle are eligible to receive a $20 rebate in the form of a check.

If you have a car registered in Seattle and meet income requirements, you are eligible to receive a $20 rebate in the form of a check. This is a one-time, yearly $20 savings, rather than a monthly savings.
You are currently enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Seattle Utility Discount Program (UDP)
Your family is at or under following income guidelines during the monthly period prior to applying:
Government issued identification for all persons 18 years and older. Please provide a copy of one of the items below for each adult: State driver’s license; State identification card; Passport or Permanent Resident Card
Proof that you are currently enrolled in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Seattle Utility Discount Program (UDP) -OR- Proof for total gross household income for all persons 18 years and older living in the house during the monthly period prior to applying.
