The Office of Housing’s Weatherization Program provides income-eligible homeowners and renters with energy efficiency improvements to their homes to decrease the cost of utilities. Improvements could include energy audits, insulation, air sealing, or furnace repair or replacement. The application process can be printed, completed and mailed or emailed with required documentation to the Office of Housing.
Step 1: Check your eligibility the 2022 Eligibility Requirements below.
Step 2: Download and complete the enrollment form.
Step 3: Your application will be reviewed and processed.
Step 4: Once eligibility requirements are met and your application is approved, a representative from the Office of Housing’s Weatherization Program will contact you to start the weatherization process for your home
Step 5: The Office of Housing will schedule a time with you for a comprehensive home energy audit.
Step 6: The Office of Housing’s Weatherization Specialists will identify potential energy saving and health and safety measures such as new insulation, bath and kitchen fans, furnaces, ductless heat pumps and air sealing.
Step 7: All weatherization projects are contracted and managed by the Office of Housing. All work is inspected and the Office of Housing pays the contractor.
